Don’s Deli hmmm…Let me tell you little bit about this place... We use to be everyday customers for this restaurant but they seem to take us for granted...service is utterly poor and VERY VERY VERY unprofessional. There is one old lady who seems to be the manager, she is somewhat trying to provide a good service but it all goes to a waste of effort when the other two ladies come in to the scene, because they don’t know what the hack they are doing. Lack of training and professionalism displays through their entire behavior. DO NOT go there to sit and dine because if you go there around 5.30 pm to 6.00 pm they will make enough VISIBLE indications for you to leave the premises immediately. Trust me they DO.

If you order one food item once and then if you want to order something again, they will ask for your plate back to give away the second food item...which is hilarious...

If you spill water, coffee or tea…make sure to get insulted to your face or to see grumpy faces…(unless you bring a mop and clean it on your own)

We use to go there twice a day or at least once a day, despite of all of their wired and unprofessional behavior because that was the only place closest to our office but with the incident that took place today, we decided to never to step in to that place ever, even if we have to travel 10 km to find another restaurant.

Food use to be good and I think the head pastry chef has changed and now that is also not up to the level. (Ice coffee and some of the cake items are still not bad, but you never know in the future)

AC is internally broken and there is pedestal fan which is turned towards the restaurant staff and not to the customers who are dining.

By any chance if you go and turn the fan to your side, they will come and turn it back to their side (crazy right-only in Sri Lanka).

I think most people don’t notice these things or may be they do and they just tend to ignore them or they may decide never to step in just like we just did or may be they don’t have any other choice.

I can write enough and more things about this place that we experienced but I think this is more than enough for you to make a judgement about it. I think the same owner owns FAT CRAB too, I don’t think there will be much of a difference if this is how things are happening in this horrible place.
