When I try to visit the place, it is always closed. Parking can always be problem.
Wondered about all the previous comments. We just went there because we heard they had awesome coffees. Four of us ordered three different things. All of them felt like just drinking flavoured water. May be a bad day we went there.
Like the atmosphere. They should not on all the white lights as they kill the lovely look.
Staff is really friendly. Well mannered.
Great coffee! Go Sri Lanka! However Tasty is incorrect with the open times - this place closes at 6:30PM on weekdays (according to the guy in the counter) - please amend that as it can be really inconvenient and disheartening!
In short,I agree with all the positive comments here,The coffee is to DIE for! Especially the cappuccino and the simple ice coffee with ice cream! Tried the dark choc drink too,lovely! The best thing abt this plc is the local produce and the comparatively low prices, Its very comfortable for the budget and can easily compare (and come on top) of the expensive international coffee brands sold in other coffee shops,The food is divine,specially the cheese toasties which is made from an organic local cheese,and ofcourse the legendary brownies :-) U would love it - highly recommended

I would prefer going here any day, rather than going to one of Colombo's overpriced, pretentious, pseudo-American coffee shops. (Lord knows there are so many of them!)
This is one of our favourite coffee haunts in Colombo. Small, comfortable place, with good coffee and friendly service. Great!
This is where you can get the pure Sri Lankan coffee, and even the Sri Lankan choco/chocolate. Hansa Ceylon Coffee is unique. The atmosphere inside the cafe is nice, and the coffee is cheap and great! A must visit. Make sure to ask for your bill and check the balance, as they have indicated in the cashier.
This is a splendid place for coffee with a very nice and a relaxing atmosphere. Really friendly and a nice service. Superb cappuccinos. Their brownies are also very famous and a must try! It'd be great if they can have more seating space and parking space. I'd definitely go there again!! Reasonable prices too. Again, very pleased with everything!
At Hansa Coffee you can taste the best Sri Lankan coffee. Grown in small home gardens, the beans selected by hand and roasted at high altitude in Nuwara Eliya, the coffee is full and rich beyond what you have tasted before. Just wait until you try the brownies......
