Rumors of a recent renovation prompted us to go and check out Sakura after a long time. Unfortunately though the exterior seems to be in even worse condition as before. The interior however seems to have been cleaned up somewhat, with a larger eating area towards the front of the restaurant. The food was decent and the service very efficient. We ordered California Rolls, Tempura and Katsu Don.

Price wise, I thought it was a little steep, perhaps just 10%-15% less than dining at a Ginza or Nihonbashi which are far superior in terms of quality.
