TGI Fridays is located opposite Colombo City hotel in Colombo 1. The restaurant is very big and consists of two floors. Keeping with the theme of the restaurant, the colour of the furniture is red and the staff are dressed in red and white striped uniforms. The serves is very good. When arriving at the restaurant, you are greeted at door and taken to your seat. Unlike some of TGIF restaurants abroad, the quantity of food is very small but is very tasty. The layout is not very cooped up like other franchised restaurants in Colombo. It is well laid out so that people can be very comfortable. Some of the staff are from abroad. Mostly from Asia and the Americas. When celebrating ones birthdays, the staff will get you to stand on the chair and they will sing for you. It is an amazing experience being here and will surely come again.
